Anubis Manufacturing Consultants provides professional sservices to companies with industrial manufacturing operations in North America and around the globe. Our scope of services includes master planning for manufacturing plants, process design, packing process logistics and material handling in addition to overall project management responsibilities. Our Strength is our ability to integrate all aspects of a project from feasibility to start–up. We currently have a requirement based in our Oakville office.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Reporting to the President, you will lead a newly formed Mechanical Design Team where you will deliver detail design engineering for industrial, commercial and residential projects. Additionally, you will coordinate the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering design by communicating with engineers from all disciplines as well as the design team to ensure the design will be delivered according to quality, budget and schedule.

You will have worked in an Engineering Consulting environment and be proficient in HVAC design, piping design complying with ASME, ASTM codes, selection of pumps, plumbing and fire protection. Specifically, you will have prior successful experience in:

• Providing detail design engineering for drawing and specifications for pumping/piping systems and Industrial HVAC
• Calculating cooling and heating loads
• Selecting HVAC mechanical equipment for industrial and commercial facilities
• Preparing and reviewing technical, construction and installation specifications
• Developing project design criteria and project scope of work
• Acting as a liaison between design and construction
• Preparing engineering design briefs
• Arranging and administering meetings with clients achieving full client’s satisfaction
• Carrying out site visits

• Prepared engineering man hours and project capital costs
• Estimated budget prices and implemented project scheduling
• Negotiated contracts, submitting projects on time and under budget
• Knowledge of 3D Design
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

You must possess a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus have a minimum of 10 years related experience. Additionally, you will be a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. LEED accreditation would also be an asset. You will also have strong knowledge of MS software and AutoCAD 2011.
